Gary Dean Gary Dean DWA Managing Director
QAM Production Manager

Gary Dean is Managing Director of DWA. In terms of mechanical and structural engineering, Gary has acquired significant experience throughout his long career as a Fitter and Turner having been exposed to a wide variety of working environments, including large water dams, foundries, mining, mills, shipbuilding, cranes, furnaces, and more recently, aviation. Gary´s extensive knowledge of metal working processes coupled with his broad management expertise qualifies him to provide expert senior management leadership.

 
Stephen Roebuck Stephen Roebuck Production Planning Director

Stephen Roebuck is Managing Director of Aerostaff Australia Pty Ltd specializing in aviation and defence sheetmetal component manufacture. Aerostaff is AS 9100 accredited. Aerostaff supply to all the main Aviation and Defence Primes in Australia and also export to North America and Asia. Stephen is a DWA board member, who has worked closely with State and Federal Government Departments in Australia, developing closer relations between Government and Industry. Stephen still sits on the AIDN Executive Committee and is the Chair of the Aviation Cluster Working Group. Aerostaff are the prime sheetmetal fabricators for Boomerang components.

 
Bill WhitneyBill WhitneyAircraft Designer

Bill Whitney has a long history of aircraft design projects in Australia. His extensive contribution to the development and certification of the Boomerang series aircraft, is recognized in the Whitney Boomerang aircraft name.
In 1967, Bill qualified in aeronautical engineering with a B. Eng. He has membership of The Royal Aeronautical Society and Institution of Engineers, Australia. Bill provides direction and design leadership and is well qualified as the CASA design signatory for the Boomerang project.

 
   
Josh Wit Josh Wit Product Development Engineer- Avionics

Josh Wit joined Dean-Wilson Aviation from QUT and was instrumental in the early development and certification of DW200 and DW200A. Josh has an extensive list of responsibilities at Dean-Wilson Aviation and is a key liaison for legislation and engineering activities. Outside of work Josh has interests in motorcycling and athletics.

 
Andrew Cross Andrew Cross Product Development Engineer- Structures & Systems

Andrew Cross was educated in the UK as a Mechanical Engineer, and has a varied background in automotive, civil and general engineering fields. He is currently engaged in aircraft development and maintaining the company's Type Certification Data as well as producing and maintaining detailed technical drawings and specifications. Outside of work Andrew is involved in walking and in classic Minis.

 
Warick Henry Warwick Henry Sales Representative

Warwick is a retired airline pilot, who amassed about 21,700 hours in 80 types of aircraft ranging from the Airbus A300, B737-300, -400 and -800 down to the ultralight Drifter and including his own Cessna 182P. Warwick is the company sales and demonstration pilot. His long association with the aviation industry combined with his comprehensive knowledge will ensure the company is well represented.
