Purchasing the Whitney Boomerang

Purchasing an aeroplane is not a regular occurance, so at Dean-Wilson Aviation we do everything possible in 5 easy steps to make the experience as rewarding for you as possible.

Step 1. Initial Contact
Your initial contact will usually be personally by telephone (+61 7 4162 4880)  email  or by paying us a visit at our facility at 28 Geoff Raph Drive, Kingaroy Airport, Kingaroy, Queensland. Your enquiry will be carefully handled by one of our sales team, trained to establish your needs and requirements.

Step 2. Factory Visit
When purchasing a Boomerang you are not just buying an exceptional aircraft, but also the attributes and support of the company behind its construction. We encourage all potential purchasers to visit our prestigious facilities at Kingaroy Airport, where you will receive a guided tour of the production facilities and see for yourself, the quality workmanship that goes into the construction of each aircraft.

Step 3. Demonstration Flight
Once initial contact has been made, an invitation is extended to you to participate in a demonstration flight of the Boomerang, either at Kingaroy Airport, or during a sales promotional tour that the Boomerang will regularly engage upon. We will notify you when a Boomerang will be in your area and invite you to the nearest airfield to allow you to experience the benefits of the aircraft first hand.

Step 4. Order Placement and Delivery
Having made your decision to proceed with a purchase, our sales representative will walk you through the order process, assisting you with your choice of external colours and livery, analogue or glass cockpit configuration, engine size, finance and insurance packages. Once you are happy with your order, it is confirmed in writing as a contract.  

Step 5. Check Flight and Endorsement
As part of your introduction to the Boomerang, we can provide suitable tuition over a one day period during which GPS ground school, the Flight Manual and two hours of flight training are covered. The final step is a check-flight for your safe return home as the newest owner of a Whitney Boomerang!
