 OPERATING COSTS

No matter how good an aircraft looks or feels in the air, it has to be financially viable to warrant the investment being made. Dean-Wilson Aviation has used the reliable and critically acclaimed Lycoming engine to power the Boomerang aircraft, fitted with either a 118hp O-235-N2C or 125hp O-235J2A model. The airframe has been designed to afford maximum efficiency in the air and reduced drag, and improved airflow across the control surfaces. The table displays the cost of operating the Boomerang over a range of hours flown per year; typical for a recreation pilot, or for a busy pilot training environment. Judge for yourself!

All prices shown are in Australian Dollars, and were current at time of publication.
Figures quoted are the 118hp O-235-N2C engine.
